General Terms and Conditions – Maeven Art

Article 1. Definitions
Maeven Art: trade name under which the company offers its products.
Consumer: the natural person who enters into a purchase agreement with Maeven Art.
Purchase agreement: agreement that is concluded through remote communication.
Shipping confirmation: email confirmation that the order has been received and accepted.

Article 2. General
These terms and conditions apply to all offers, orders and agreements via the Maeven Art website.
Deviations are only valid if agreed in writing.
General terms and conditions of the consumer are expressly rejected.
If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

Article 3. Offers and prices
All offers are without obligation, unless stated otherwise.
Prices are in euros, including VAT and excluding shipping costs, unless stated otherwise.
Obvious (printing) errors do not bind Maeven Art.

Article 4. Products and images
Images and specifications are indicative; slight color or shape deviations are permitted.
For self-assembled products, the consumer is responsible for the design.

Article 5. Formation of agreement
The agreement is formed as soon as the consumer places an order and Maeven Art confirms this by email.
The agreement is final upon confirmation of shipment.

Article 6. Delivery
Delivery takes place at the address provided by the consumer.
Delivery times are indicative and not strict deadlines.
In case of delay due to circumstances beyond Maeven Art's control, the delivery time will be extended.
Shipping costs are clearly communicated before ordering.

Article 7. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have the right to cancel the order within 30 days of receipt, except for personalized/custom-made items and paintings.
Returns are only possible in original condition and packaging; used adhesive edges cannot be returned.
Return costs: within the Netherlands and Belgium at the expense of the consumer. Outside the Benelux, a fixed return contribution of €9.99 applies.

Article 8. Complaints
Complaints can be reported via info@maevenart.com stating the order number.
Complaints will be answered within 3 working days of receipt.
If a complaint is justified, Maeven Art offers repair, replacement, or a suitable solution.

Article 9. Payment
Payment is made via the payment methods offered on the website.
Orders are processed after receipt of payment.

Article 10. Liability
Maeven Art is not liable for damage due to incorrect or careless use of products.
Colors on screens may differ from reality; Maeven Art is not liable for this.
Liability is limited to the invoice amount or, if applicable, the amount paid out by the insurer.
This limitation does not apply in the event of intent or gross negligence.

Article 11. Force majeure
In case of force majeure, Maeven Art is not obliged to pay compensation.

Article 12. Intellectual property
All rights to designs, photos, texts and brands belong to Maeven Art.
Use without prior written consent is prohibited.

Article 13. Privacy & confidentiality
Personal data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy on the website.
Both parties shall keep obtained confidential information secret and use it only for the intended purpose.
