Terms and Conditions – Maeven Art

Article 1. Definitions
Maeven Art: the trade name under which the company offers its products.
Consumer: a natural person who enters into a purchase agreement with Maeven Art.
Sales Agreement: an agreement entered into through distance communication.
Shipping confirmation: an email confirming that the order has been received and accepted.

Article 2. General Provisions
These terms and conditions apply to all offers, orders, and agreements made through the Maeven Art website.
Any deviations are valid only if agreed upon in writing.
Any terms and conditions proposed by the consumer are expressly rejected.
If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Article 3. Offers and Prices
All offers are non-binding, unless otherwise stated.
Prices are in euros, including VAT and excluding shipping costs, unless otherwise indicated.
Obvious (printing) errors do not bind Maeven Art.

Section 4. Products and Images
Images and specifications are for illustrative purposes only; minor variations in color or shape are permitted.
For custom-built products, the consumer is responsible for the design.

Article 5. Formation of the Agreement
The agreement is concluded as soon as the consumer places an order and Maeven Art confirms it by email.
Once the shipping confirmation has been sent, the agreement is final.

Article 6. Delivery
Delivery will be made to the address provided by the customer.
Delivery times are approximate and not binding.
If there is a delay due to circumstances beyond Maeven Art’s control, the delivery time will be extended.
Shipping costs are clearly communicated before you place your order.

Article 7. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have the right to return the order within 30 days cancel the order upon receipt, except for personalized/custom items and paintings.
Returns are only accepted if the item is in its original condition and packaging; used adhesive edges cannot be returned.
Return shipping costs: Within the Netherlands and Belgium, these are the responsibility of the customer. Outside the Benelux, a flat-rate return fee of €9.99 applies.

Article 8. Complaints
Complaints can be reported via info@maevenart.com please include the order number.
Complaints are handled within 3 business days will be answered upon receipt.
If a complaint is valid, Maeven Art will offer a repair, replacement, or an appropriate solution.

Article 9. Payment
Payment is made using the payment methods available on the website.
Orders are processed upon receipt of payment.

Article 10. Liability
Maeven Art is not liable for damage resulting from improper or careless use of its products.
Colors on screens may differ from reality; Maeven Art is not liable for this.
Liability is limited to the invoice amount or, if applicable, the amount paid out by the insurer.
This limitation does not apply in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.

Article 11. Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure, Maeven Art is not liable for damages.

Article 12. Intellectual Property
All rights to designs, photos, texts, and trademarks are owned by Maeven Art.
Use without prior written permission is prohibited.

Article 13. Privacy & Confidentiality
Personal data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy on the website.
Both parties shall keep any confidential information received confidential and use it only for its intended purpose.
