Maeven Art: Sustainable Acoustic Panels Made from Recycled PET Felt

We are proud to present unique works of art that are not only visually appealing but also have a positive impact on our planet. All of our panels are made from PET felt, a sustainable and eco-friendly material created from recycled PET bottles. This innovative solution reduces the amount of waste that ends up in the environment and gives new life to materials that would otherwise go to waste.

Step 1

Collection of PET bottles

The first step is to collect PET bottles. Once the PET bottles have been sorted, they undergo a thorough cleaning process to remove labels and caps.

Step 2

Grind into small pieces

After the PET bottles have been collected and cleaned, they are shredded into small pieces or flakes to facilitate further processing.

Step 3

Formed into polyester fibers

The PET flakes are then melted at high temperatures and formed into polyester fibers. The hard plastic is transformed into a soft, wool-like texture.

Step 4

Felting

These fibers are used to make mats, which are then felted. The felt is heated and pressed into sheets. And these sheets are used to create our art.

Step 5

The final product

Our unique wall tiles are made from PET felt panels. They are precisely cut and milled using a digital cutting machine. Thanks to this precise milling process, we can guarantee that every design detail is accurately reproduced.
