About Us - Maeven Art
Where silence takes shape
Maeven Art designs acoustic wall art that reduces echo and transforms your interior. Handmade in the Netherlands, shipped throughout Europe.
Born out of a refusal to choose
Acoustic panels that are functional but don’t fit into a well-designed interior. Or decorative wall panels that look nice but do nothing to reduce reverberation. For years, that was the only choice—and it was always a compromise.
We did not accept that compromise.
In a market flooded with generic panels, we saw what was missing: the end user. No one was asking what shapes, colors, and arrangements you actually wanted. Maeven Art was founded to change that—to give you the freedom to design your own wall, with designs that significantly reduce echo and elevate your interior to the next level.
Our name is derived from "Maeve"—a word that embodies softness, depth, and strength. That’s exactly what our panels do: they absorb sound gently, make a visually striking statement, and are fully customizable to suit your taste.
We design and manufacture everything ourselves in the Netherlands. From recycled PET bottles to felt panels cut with precision machinery and assembled by hand—every product is a circular design piece with measurable acoustic performance.
Three disciplines. One panel.
A noticeable difference
Our 9mm PET felt panels absorb reverberation and echoes in any space—from living rooms to offices. They’re not just decorative accents that “help a little.” You’ll hear the difference right away: clearer conversations, less echo, and a more peaceful atmosphere.
Your wall, your design
Choose your own shapes, colors, and layout—from parametric geometry to organic lines. Our designs are registered and protected, but the composition is entirely up to you. Available in 7 colors, with endless combination possibilities.
From bottle to wall
Our felt is made from 60% to 100% recycled PET bottles. Fire-safety certified according to EN-13501, Class B-s1,d0. Not a disposable product—built to last for years and fully recyclable. Our sample kits are assembled in collaboration with a local social workshop, so that people who face barriers to employment can also contribute to what we make.
100% designed and manufactured in the Netherlands
From the initial sketch to the finished panel—everything is done in the Netherlands. Our designs are cut from high-quality PET felt using precision machinery and then assembled by hand. This combination of technology and craftsmanship is evident in every detail.
The result: clean lines, consistent quality, and a product delivered to your door within 2 to 3 business days. You can install the wall panels yourself using the self-adhesive system. Acoustic paintings can be hung using the included Z-profile—just as easy as hanging a canvas.
